A technique using a substantial amount of deliberately focused pressure on a targeted muscle group(s) to address your specific complaint. This work alleviates severe, chronic tension in the muscles, connective tissue &/or fascia.  This service is not performed on the full body, but oil &/or cream is still used.
*PLEASE NOTE:  If you would like deeper, occasionally intense pressure throughout a full body session, you should schedule an: Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy, Custom Creation, LaStone or Therapeutic session. If the actual pressure you require is in excess of my max output, only Ashiatsu/DeepFeet Bar Therapy will be  offered.

A technique using hot basalt stones &/or cold sardonyx stones to relax, relieve, rejuvenate & connect your body with Mother Earth. Not only will stones be strategically placed underneath and on top of your body, but also used vs. hands to massage the entire body. The stones provide relief and results similar to a Deep Tissue, but aren't invasive or painful because the heat literally, "melts the muscles." The therapeutic benefits of LaStone are ever so numerous, especially when incorporating both hot & cold stones into your session.

Reflexology

Hot Rockin' Reflexology &
Sweet Feet Aromatherapy

An innovative technique combining Reflexology, hot stones & aromatherapy oils. This service will start off with a custom blended aromatherapy foot soak & foot scrub based on your individual specific needs. "Sweet Feet Cream", created by Claire Marie Miller, combined with your custom blend will then be applied & Reflexology with hot stones performed intermittently on each foot. This service takes Reflexology to a more luxurious level; still providing all of the same benefits, plus those of heat & essential oil aromatherapy. The A4TS Reflexology Client Intake Form can be completed prior to your service(s), allowing A4TS to customize your service, addressing any specific conditions.

Shiatsu

The word Shiatsu is a derivative of two Japanese words, "shi" meaning finger & "atsu" meaning pressure. The techniques originated in ancient China & were compiled by the Japanese, creating Shiatsu; a very non-invasive, yet therapeutically effective form of manipulation using the fingers, thumbs, palms & feet to apply pressure to the client's body. The pressure & stretching performed is applied along Traditional Chinese Energy meridians and points. This technique brings our energy, "ki" or "chi" into balance, thus; correcting internal malfunctioning, restoring, promoting &/or maintaining health, strengthening the body's ability to resist disease, increasing circulation, promoting flexibility & affecting specific diseases.

Classic and basic massage techniques performed with a light to medium pressure tailored to your specific needs.  This service sedates your central nervous system, promoting deep relaxation to relieve tension, pain & stress. This service is performed with oil.

Therapeutic

A combination of techniques performed to induce the same therapeutic relief felt from a Deep Tissue massage, but without the use of excessive pressure. Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point & Shiatsu stretching techniques will be used to create the perfect medium-deep pressure necessary for release.

Trigger Point

A highly effective technique manipulating specific trigger points to alleviate headaches, chronic tension & pain. A trigger point is a firm, irritable spot in a taut band of muscle fibers or fascia, or more commonly known as, a "knot". This service will include specific, directed pressure, stripping & stretching of the fascia to deactivate the trigger points causing local or referred pain.
This service is performed with oil, only to warm tissue before initiating release.
